Grease is critical in the use of a spherical outer ball bearing. If a deteriorated grease is used, it will not only function as it should, but it will also damage the INA bearing.
Grease is used to lubricate the bearings. Of course, the more the better, it is not. It is not necessary to add too much grease to the bearing, but it will increase the friction and increase the temperature. However, if the fat is too small, the oil film of the grease is not sufficiently repaired, which may deteriorate the lubrication state of the bearing. Therefore, it is important to determine the proper loading of the grease in the INA bearing. Refer to the following guidelines for the amount of grease filled in a spherical ball bearing with a seat:
(1) The viscosity of the lubricating oil is an essential factor in forming a lubricating oil film. Medium viscosity lubricants are used in medium speed, medium load and low temperature conditions. In the case of heavy load, low speed and high temperature, use high viscosity oil or lubricant with extreme pressure anti-wear agent. Low viscosity lubricants are used under low load, high speed and low temperature conditions.
(2) Synthetic lubricating oil is used under the conditions of wide temperature range, light load and high speed, and other special requirements.
(3) Take the internal combustion engine oil as an example, select the appropriate viscosity and high viscosity index, so that the oil has sufficient high temperature viscosity to ensure the lubrication and sealing of the engine during operation, and can have a small enough viscosity at low temperature to ensure Low temperature start performance. The choice of viscosity is usually based on temperature conditions, but also factors such as load level, speed, or engine wear.
